𝐉𝐨𝐛 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: 𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰 We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Project Manager to own end-to-end delivery of complex product and technology initiatives. This role requires someone who works closely with Product Managers, Product Owners, Scrum teams, Technology, QA, Business stakeholders, and PMO to drive execution from planning through production release. The ideal candidate combines strong project management fundamentals with hands-on Agile execution, release management, proactive risk management, and a solid understanding of the product, its business objectives, and customer impact. This is a product-aware delivery ownership role—not simply an Agile facilitation, technical coordination, task tracking, or status reporting position. 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 / 𝐅𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬 • 8+ years of project management experience delivering complex, cross-functional product and technology initiatives with multiple dependencies. • Strong product understanding and business acumen, with the ability to connect product capabilities, functional requirements, business objectives, and customer impact to delivery decisions. • Hands-on Agile/SAFe experience working closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Engineering, and QA teams. • Proficiency in Jira/Rally, including managing features, stories, milestones, dependencies, dashboards, and release tracking. • Strong release management experience, including entry/exit gates, testing readiness, UAT, go/no-go decisions, and production deployment coordination. • Strong project management fundamentals, including integrated planning, milestone management, RAID management, dependency tracking, change control, and recovery planning. • Proven ability to proactively identify delivery risks, resolve blockers, drive accountability, and manage stakeholder expectations across Business, Product, Technology, and PMO. • Strong communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional leadership skills. • Experience with API-based integrations, REST/SOAP, and travel technology preferred; Sabre experience is a plus. 𝐑𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐬 & 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 1. 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭 𝐔𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 & 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐀𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 • Develop a strong understanding of the product, its capabilities, workflows, business objectives, customer impact, and cross-product dependencies. • Work closely with Product Managers and Product Owners to understand the intent behind features, requirements, and priorities. • Apply product and business understanding to proactively identify functional gaps, delivery risks, dependencies, and potential impacts to business outcomes. • Ensure project execution remains aligned with product priorities and intended business value. 2. 𝐄𝐧𝐝-𝐭𝐨-𝐄𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 & 𝐄𝐱𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 • Own project execution from planning through development, testing, release, and production stabilization. • Maintain integrated delivery plans, milestones, dependencies, and commitments across multiple teams. • Drive execution accountability, resolve blockers, and proactively address delivery slippages and scope changes. • Ensure delivery decisions consider product impact, business priorities, and overall release commitments. 3. 𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬-𝐎𝐧 𝐀𝐠𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 • Actively participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand-ups, sprint reviews, and release planning. • Work day-to-day with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Engineering, and QA teams to drive execution and delivery progress. • Maintain accurate Jira/Rally tracking of features, stories, milestones, dependencies, blockers, and release commitments. • Identify execution gaps early and coordinate cross-team actions to maintain delivery momentum. 4. 𝐑𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 & 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 • Own integrated release planning, readiness tracking, and management of all required entry/exit gates. • Coordinate testing, UAT, defect resolution, business approvals, go/no-go readiness, and production deployment activities. • Proactively manage release dependencies, readiness gaps, risks, and post-production stabilization. • Ensure release governance requirements, approvals, and supporting documentation are completed. 5. 𝐑𝐢𝐬𝐤, 𝐈𝐬𝐬𝐮𝐞 & 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate delivery risks, issues, and cross-team dependencies. • Maintain RAID logs with clear ownership, mitigation actions, and resolution timelines. • Develop recovery plans for at-risk milestones and drive blockers to resolution. • Escalate issues with clear business impact, mitigation options, and recommended actions. 6. 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐫 & 𝐏𝐌𝐎 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 • Partner with Product, Business, Technology, QA, and PMO stakeholders to align delivery plans, commitments, and expectations. • Communicate project health, milestones, risks, dependencies, and release readiness proactively. • Maintain required PMO governance, project documentation, and delivery reporting. • Take ownership of day-to-day execution management, enabling Product Managers to focus on product vision, roadmap strategy, and future priorities. 𝐈𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞 We are looking for a product-aware, hands-on, execution-driven Project Manager who understands both what is being delivered and why it matters. The ideal candidate is comfortable working directly with Product Owners and Scrum teams, managing Jira/Rally, understanding product functionality, resolving dependencies, anticipating risks, and driving release readiness. We need someone who thinks beyond tasks and timelines, understands the product and business impact, and takes ownership of successful delivery outcomes—not just project activities.
