Lead Business Analyst – L&A (Life & Group Benefits)

Coordinate with product owners and QA lead to ensure coverage. Strong knowledge of group enrollment, billing, and claims workflows required. We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong expertise in Life Insurance and Group Benefits operations to support large-scale insurance transformation and modernization initiatives on the EIS platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for requirements elicitation, business process analysis, traceability management, stakeholder coordination, and ensuring alignment between business objectives and technology solutions. The candidate should possess deep knowledge of Group Benefits business processes including enrollment, eligibility, billing, claims, policy administration, and customer servicing. Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with Product Owners, QA teams, and development teams is essential. 𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 : - Lead requirements gathering sessions, workshops, and stakeholder interviews for Life & Group Benefits initiatives. - Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business requirements and functional specifications. - Own end-to-end requirements traceability from business objectives through testing and implementation. - Translate business needs into user stories, epics, process flows, and acceptance criteria. - Work closely with Product Owners to prioritize backlog items and define release scope. - Coordinate with QA leads to ensure complete test coverage of business requirements. - Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. - Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for optimization and automation. - Support EIS platform implementations, enhancements, and modernization initiatives. - Facilitate requirement walkthroughs with business stakeholders, architects, developers, and QA teams. - Develop business process models, workflow diagrams, and use cases. - Review functional designs and ensure alignment with business requirements. - Assist in data mapping, conversion, migration, and integration activities. - Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning, execution, and defect resolution. - Ensure compliance with insurance regulatory and business requirements. - Manage requirement changes and maintain documentation throughout the project lifecycle. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. - Support production deployment and post-implementation activities. - Provide subject matter expertise for Life Insurance and Group Benefits processes. - Maintain requirement traceability matrices (RTM) and project documentation. 𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬 : - Insurance Domain - Strong experience in Life Insurance and Group Benefits. 𝐃𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 : - Group Enrollment - Eligibility Management - Employer Group Administration - Billing & Premium Management - Claims Processing - Member Administration - Policy Administration - Benefit Configuration - Underwriting Processes - Customer Service Operations 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐀𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐬 : - Requirements Elicitation - Gap Analysis - Business Process Modeling - User Story Development - Acceptance Criteria Definition - Functional Specifications - Requirements Traceability - Stakeholder Management - UAT Support 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬 : - Experience working on EIS Insurance Platform. - Knowledge of insurance system integrations and APIs. - Understanding of data mapping and migration activities. - Experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar Agile tools. - Familiarity with SQL and reporting tools is preferred. 𝐀𝐠𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐌𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐝𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 : - Agile/Scrum delivery experience. - Sprint Planning and Backlog Management. - Story Refinement and Prioritization. - Defect Triage and Resolution Support. 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 : - Experience in EIS Policy Core, Billing Core, or Claim Core implementations. - Prior experience in insurance modernization or digital transformation programs. - Knowledge of Life & Group Benefits product configuration. - Experience with cloud-based insurance platforms. - CBAP, CCBA, or Agile certification preferred. - Experience working with distributed and offshore teams. 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 : - Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Technology, Insurance, Finance, or related field. Master's Degree preferred.
