The ideal candidate should have strong SQL programming skills, database performance tuning experience, and hands-on administration of SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL environments. The role requires close collaboration with application developers, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders. 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬: - Database Development - Design, develop, and maintain database objects including: - Tables - Views - Stored Procedures - Functions - Triggers - Indexes - Write complex SQL queries for reporting and application support. - Develop ETL processes for data migration and integration. - Perform database schema design and normalization. - Create reusable database components. - Optimize SQL queries for better performance. - Develop data validation and integrity checks. - Support application development teams with database design. 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐀𝐝𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: - Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain database servers. - Perform database backup and recovery. - Monitor database health and availability. - Manage database security, users, roles, and permissions. - Configure High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR). - Perform database patching and upgrades. - Monitor storage utilization and capacity planning. - Troubleshoot production database issues. - Maintain replication, clustering, and failover environments. - Ensure database compliance and security standards.
