Cyber Security Engineer

𝐑𝐨𝐥𝐞: 𝐂𝐲𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐥𝐢𝐧, 𝐎𝐇𝐈𝐎 (𝐑𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐞) 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐚: 𝐔𝐒𝐂, 𝐆𝐂 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐇4-𝐄𝐀𝐃 𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: • Planning, implementing, managing, monitoring, and upgrading security measures for the protection of DRC data, systems, and networks • Responding to all system and/or network security breaches • Testing and identifying network and system vulnerabilities • Evaluating the organization’s security needs and establishing best practices and standards accordingly • Taking appropriate security measures to ensure that DRC’s infrastructure and existing data are kept safe • Perform scheduled and ad-hoc vulnerability scans across networks, servers and endpoints. • Analyze scan results, validate findings, and prioritize remediation based on risk and exploitability • Partner with IT team and application teams to coordinate remediation and verify fixes • Tune scans and reduce false positives to improve data accuracy • Develop vulnerability metrics, dashboards, and executive-level reports • Conducting testing and scans to identify any vulnerabilities in the network and system 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬 𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝 / 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐀𝐦𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 Experience with Network Security and threat detection Required 12 Years Experience with incident response and vulnerability management Required 12 Years Experience administering Qualys Required 12 Years Experience with remediation documentation and patch management processes Required 12 Years 4-year college degree Highly desired CISP Certification Highly desired
