The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge of COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, VSAM, and IBM Mainframe technologies, along with experience leading development efforts, resolving complex production issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. 𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 • Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise Mainframe applications. • Analyze business and functional requirements to create technical design documents. • Develop and maintain complex COBOL programs, CICS online transactions, and JCL batch processes. • Design, optimize, and maintain DB2 databases, SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning. • Develop and maintain VSAM files and implement efficient file-processing solutions. • Perform impact analysis, code reviews, debugging, testing, and deployment activities. • Troubleshoot critical production issues and provide timely root cause analysis. • Collaborate with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, QA teams, and stakeholders throughout the SDLC. • Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to the development team. 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. • 12+ years of professional experience in IBM Mainframe application development. • Extensive experience in full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
